P1 synthetic microcarriers are microcarriers for cell culture designed to support the expansion of adherent cells, including more demanding cell types. Made from a fully defined synthetic polymer, P1 provides a controlled and consistent surface for cell attachment.

P1 microcarriers are available for both research use and GMP-grade applications. GMP-grade P1 microcarriers are manufactured in line with USP <1043> guidance for ancillary materials, supporting use in regulated cell culture and biomanufacturing.

These microcarriers are not dissolvable and are suited to processes where stable, non-degradable carriers are required. P1 can be tailored in stiffness, size, and surface properties depending on application needs.
