Smart MCs is proud to be a core partner in the $238 million SMART CRC (Solutions for Manufacturing Advanced Regenerative Therapies), a new national research centre hosted by The University of Queensland.

This transformative initiative brings together more than 60 partners from across Australia’s research, biotech, and healthcare sectors to advance the way regenerative therapies are developed, scaled, and delivered.

Shaping the Future of Regenerative Medicine in Australia

The SMART CRC is focused on removing barriers to commercialising regenerative treatments—from improving scale-up systems to streamlining clinical readiness. Smart MCs is excited to contribute to this mission as part of a united effort to accelerate innovation in areas like stem cell therapies, advanced biologics, and precision medicine.

We are especially enthusiastic about the CRC’s focus on creating long-term national capability and building a skilled workforce in next-generation biomanufacturing.
