The Large Culture Vessel with Integrated Mixing is designed for controlled mixing in laboratory and scale-up workflows. It features an integrated motor-driven mixing unit, eliminating the need for an external magnetic stirrer while providing adjustable agitation within standard incubators.
This vessel can support microcarrier-based and suspension cell culture applications, particularly at smaller working volumes. For cell culture use, we recommend working volumes up to 3 L, with optimal performance typically around 2.5 L, depending on the cell type, culture conditions, and application.
While the vessel may accommodate larger liquid volumes for general laboratory or chemical mixing, 5 L operation is not recommended as the standard working volume for cell culture applications.
Larger custom systems, including 10 L to 250 L plug-and-use culture systems, are available on request for customers requiring scale-up options.
